January has 31 days.

Well I thought it would be difficult to take a picture a day but so far it has been such fun.
Let's see what February brings.

Light Lanterns

Took some pictures for my sister-in-law last Tuesday.  She is the Young Women President in her ward and this is part of the activity that they had.  It turned out really beautiful.

Since I last posted:

It has been so long since I last posted and I miss blogging!  Aidan has started grade 2 (at home) and so my mornings are taken up with teaching him.  Then in the afternoons I have to catch up will all the housework.  I am loving how much he is learning.

 Our children love swimming.

My sweet nephew eating a mealie.  Just seconds before, he was using it as a phone but I wasn't quick enough to catch him.

Once of my nieces blowing out her birthday candles.  I am sure I am too young to have a niece of 22 years old!

He looks like the devil, but he's an angel in disguise :)

And finally.....Logan is quite the photographer these days.  Here are two of his photos from last night

I love public holidays!

Public holidays mean:

Cousin bonding on the ride on lawnmower.

Rescuing the "manne".

My hero!

My brother-in-law going through the mud AGAIN - just because he can :-)

Looking at clear blue skies

 Enjoying nature

Practicing sunflare shots.

My sister-inlaw sent us a message that she had seen a beautiful catepillar on the gate when they left.

My father-in-law challenged us to spend this year being positive.  What better way for me to start that habit than by being grateful for the beautiful country we live in!

Aidan turns 8

Aidan has been so excited about turning 8.  I am so proud of my handsome boy!

For some, too many late nights had started taking their toll.

Christmas Celebrations

We did a lot of celebrating this weekend and I enjoyed every second.
My super organised sister-in-law Ruby-Lynn asked me a few months ago if we could have everyone together to take a family portrait.  I wanted to do something different instead boring studio shots.

I took this one with the help of tripod and timer.  There always has to be one child that doesn't look at the camera.

Kyle took this one.

Oh look, my sons can get along for a few seconds.

The delicious spread.  Ruby-Lynn organised so well.  The food was amazing and everything looked beautiful.

We went to visit my Dad and his lovely family for Boxing day.  I really enjoyed spending time with everyone.  My children have the best aunties and uncles! (On all sides of the family)

Now we rest.  Logan and I spent the day watching Life season 2.

Random Boy Photos

Orin fell asleep after I made him breakfast. Guess he wasn't ready to wake up yet.  I love the blurry smurf in the background.
Took all the boys to scope out locations for our Christmas family shoot.

Today we tried to cool down with Jelly Bellys.  The boys were banished outside until they were finished but they couldn't help themselves.  Something very interesting on TV.  They didn't even see me.
