Sometimes a photo is just too funny not to share. I saw Orin outside playing with the purple glasses and took a photo of him. Once Aidan and Jesse saw me taking photos they had to join in. Then I decided that it would make a funny photo for all of us to be part of. Logan and I were laughing so much when Orin took ours. The camera was so heavy for him and he couldn't really aim straight. That is why we were both cut off.

Day 30 : Whatever I please
And with that I bid farewell to the photo challenge. It was fun to take an intentional photo everyday, but I am glad that it is over. Now to get to some normal blogging!

Day 27 : Sun as lighting
Not quite sure of this challenge because most of my pictures are taken with natural lighting. I hate the flash. The sun is the way to go.

Day 23 : A reminder of my childhood
My dad and I used to spend time making shadow shapes on the wall. Every now and then he would show us movies on the old projector and when the film finished my brother and I would jump up and make shapes on the screen.

Day 20: A photo of whatever I please
I have to laugh at this picture. I saw something on the lens of my camera and it was so cold outside that when I blew on the lens it misted up. I took a photo anyway and this is how it turned out.
Excuse the party food face :)

Day 20: Landscape
I have been so busy this week and have hardly had anytime to post. This is the entrance and exit to Fordoun. I think it is absolutely perfect.

Trip to Fordoun
While Logan was in Pietermaritzburg I occupied myself with taking pictures of the beautiful room and the old furniture and framed pictures. Everything was so well thought out.
Later on I decided to go for a back of body massage. An hour of absolute relaxation and worth every penny.
The bedroom and bathroom had underfloor heating. We had matching gowns that were cosy and comfortable. You can see here how I am eyeing the bath.
Day 19: Landscape
The timing for my landscape photo was brilliant. Logan had business to do in Pietermaritzburg and asked if I wanted to come along. We stayed at the Fordoun Hotel and Spa. It was amazing and we were so well looked after.

Day 17 : A photo with streetlights
Another fun event. Logan and I went out at 9:30 to take a few snaps of the street lights. Man it was cold!

Day 16: Photos experimenting with light trails
This was such good fun. Logan made a huge fire for us to braai. I thought it would be a good time to experiment with light trails. (my original plan had been to stand in the road while Logan drove the car up and down for me :) ) While the children were inside busy finishing up the dishes from our supper we played around a bit with the glowing fire.
Below is our first attempt.
This was number two after I told Logan to actually spell out a word.
Isn't he sweet?.......

It was really quite easy once I figured out that I needed a very slow shutter speed. We used an old 20l paint can as a tripod. It was freezing but we were laughing alot.
