Orin fell asleep after I made him breakfast. Guess he wasn't ready to wake up yet. I love the blurry smurf in the background.
Took all the boys to scope out locations for our Christmas family shoot.
Today we tried to cool down with Jelly Bellys. The boys were banished outside until they were finished but they couldn't help themselves. Something very interesting on TV. They didn't even see me.

My little redneck
Jesse loves for us to read to him. He constantly brings me a book to read and gets quite upset if you can't stop what you are doing to help him. Luckily there are a few willing brothers around.

After the mud fight.....
These two having been getting pretty muddy of late. They normally have their bath at 15.30 just so that I can let them back into the house.

Jesse and Orin
My mother gave birth to five children of which I am the oldest. There are four to five years between each of us and 21 years between my little sister and myself. I certainly never felt a closeness to them in the early years. The age gap was just too big for me to really care about the happenings in their lives. That has changed as the years have gone by.
This picture brings me much joy. The age gap between Orin and Jesse is 18 months and as I watch them play together for half and hour without a fight it makes my heart sing.

My baby turns 11!

Kyle turned 11 this August and in celebration I am posting a few pictures of this wonderful child. Unfortunately I don't have any digital baby photos or a scanner.
Kyle was 3 years old in this picture. We had gone to visit my good (best) friend June in Somerset West to celebrate my last chemotherapy treatment. It was lovely.
This is his first nursery school picture with Sharon. 4 years old

Not sure how old he is in the next one, but just to show you how creative and inventive he is. He is always finding scraps and making them into amazing creations.
6 years old. Aidan just born and the big brother relationship begins. He is such a good big brother and mostly patient with the little ones.
7th birthday
