Apricots

I picked another huge bowl of apricots today....

I felt overwhelmed by the amount that still need to be picked and processed...

and sad for the amount that had already fallen.

and grateful for the beauty of the earth.

A busy day

My visiting teacher phoned this morning and told me to have a look at the sun.

Then I phoned Devra to tell her to look at the sun.  She asked me if I could look after her children while she visited with Sister Coral in hospital.

I decided to make my niece a pair of shorts out of an old top of mine.  What fun.

After all the children had left we all had a rest.

Kyle called me to come and look at Orin.  He had fallen asleep in the pantry :-)

Jesse's first playdough activity.

Logan and I were busy working on painting out and tidying a room in the house and I made playdough to keep the children occupied for a while.
Jesse was very interested in it all.  He tried to eat a little and then kept on sticking it in his hair.
 Aidan was engrossed.
I packed up a few boxes to take with to the "free market" next Saturday.  Kyle helped Orin to make all sorts of amazing shapes.  They even made a hot dog but I forgot to take a picture.
