Day 13: A photo edit that I like
I took some photos of my mother's garden today and thought I could use this one for today's challenge. I wanted to do something that was more artificial looking.

Day 5: A photo of whatever you please
Well today was harder than I thought it would be. A picture of whatever I please......I thought I would get Jesse to sit still long enough for me to take a few photos of him but he wouldn't cooperate. So this is what I got:

Day 4: A high angle
I realized today that I don't take many high angle photos so this was an interesting challenge for me. I think there are two reasons for this. Firstly, I am short so most of my photos would be low angle shots :). I also believe that you must get down to your subjects level and as most of my photos are of my children, I spend most of the time sitting or kneeling when I take pictures of them.

Day 3 A photo of my favourite place to be
Got to say that my favourite place to be right now is behind the camera! I am so happy with my camera and for the first time in my life I am absolutely passionate about learning as much as I can about photography. The more I learn the more I realise how little I know.

Day 2 : Photography Challenge
Well this was fun. I chose to take pictures of the clothes before I put them on. Self portraits aren't very easy for me to do.

30 Day Photography Challenge
I am really looking forward to this photography challenge. Thanks Wendy.
Day 1 is A photo of yourself. Not a good way to start, me thinks. As the resident photographer in our house there are not many photos of me. After church today I got Kyle to take a few.

Sickness
Oh dear, we have lots of sick people at home right now. I took Jesse to the doctor this week because he wasn't doing very well. Antibiotics were prescribed and I have to nebulise him before he goes to bed. He is doing much better now.

My Handsome Brother
Since getting my new camera I have been snapping away and have over 3000 clicks in one month. The thing is....I am getting tired of using the same people to take photos of, ie. my poor children.
So on Sunday I grabbed the opportunity to take some photos of my visiting family.
I just love my brother. He is fourteen years younger than me and has been subjected to a fair amount of mothering by me. I admire his ability to stay neutral in a situation and his physical capabilities. He is super fit. And he has beautiful eyes.

Back from our holiday
We have had a wonderful 9 days at the South Coast. Glad to be home although it is a little too cold for my liking. While we were on holiday we had tshirts and shorts on everyday.
The day we arrived.
Everyone is excited.
Swimming in the pool.
Day Two: Visiting Ushaka Marine World.
Jesse adored the dolphins
Just a few pictures. I will post more as I get the time.
