FHE Meal

Chicken salad, french loaf, beetroot and red grape juice.

I was only asleep for a few seconds......

and this happened.  Jesse has been a real unpacker of late.  He got into my cupboard and got hold of one of my lipsticks.  What a mess!

My mother gave birth to five children of which I am the oldest.  There are four to five years between each of us and 21 years between my little sister and myself.  I certainly never felt a closeness to them in the early years.  The age gap was just too big for me to really care about the happenings in their lives.  That has changed as the years have gone by.

This picture brings me much joy.  The age gap between Orin and Jesse is 18 months and as I watch them play together for half and hour without a fight it makes my heart sing.

Teaching my children

Have I done all I can do today to teach my children?  Do they know how to choose the right because they see me doing the things I should?  My work is so important and I hope that I can fulfill my calling with excellence.  I love them so much and want to be with them forever.

Spring Trifle

 We had to Braganca's over for supper Friday night and I made a trifile for dessert.  My first try.  It was fun and tasted good.

Orin was very excited to try it out.

Tuesday night Dessert

Strawberries, cream, crushed meringues and grated Cadbury's chocolate.  Even the non fruit lovers ate theirs.
